ISP Bandwidth Management Software

Billing + bandwidth, one system

ISP bandwidth management software, linked to billing

Set plan speeds and data limits once, and ISPMate applies them on your network through RADIUS and your bandwidth manager. Expired users are suspended and paid users are restored automatically.

What it is

What is ISP bandwidth management software?

ISP bandwidth management software controls how much speed and data each subscriber gets. It applies plan speed limits, fair-usage policies and session rules on your routers and access servers, so every customer gets what they pay for and heavy users don’t slow down the rest of the network.

Most ISPs already run a bandwidth manager or RADIUS server. The problem is that it isn’t connected to billing: someone has to change speeds by hand when a plan is upgraded, and disable users when they don’t pay. ISPMate connects the two, so the network always follows the bill.

How it works

From plan to connection, automatically

1

Create plans

Define speed, data limit, FUP and validity for each plan in ISPMate.

2

Sync to the network

Plans map to speed profiles in RADIUS and your bandwidth manager.

3

Subscriber connects

On PPPoE login, the right speed and limits are applied to the session.

4

Billing controls access

Expired users are suspended; when they pay, the connection is restored.

Features

Bandwidth control your team will actually use

⇅

Plan-based speed limits

Upload and download speeds applied per plan, and changed instantly when a subscriber upgrades.

⚙

Data limits and FUP

Set data caps and fair-usage policies, with speeds reduced or plans paused when a limit is reached.

⏸

Auto suspend and restore

Connections are suspended on expiry and reconnected as soon as the payment is received.

▤

Usage and session monitoring

See active sessions and data usage per subscriber, so support can answer “slow internet” calls quickly.

₹

Billing in the same system

GST invoices, online payments, renewals and dues, all linked to each subscriber’s connection.

⚑

Resellers and branches

Separate plans, limits and pricing for resellers and areas, with the owner seeing everything.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is ISP bandwidth management software?

It is software that controls the speed and data each subscriber gets, applying plan speed limits, fair-usage policies and session rules on the ISP’s routers and access servers.

Does ISPMate replace my bandwidth manager?

ISPMate works with your existing bandwidth manager or RADIUS system and links it to billing, so speeds, suspensions and reconnections follow each subscriber’s plan and payments automatically.

Which bandwidth management systems does ISPMate support?

ISPMate integrates with systems such as Jaze, IPACCT, Height8, DMA, XceedNet and 24online, and with NAS devices including MikroTik, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper and Ubiquiti.

Can ISPMate apply data limits and FUP?

Yes. Plans can include data limits and fair-usage policies, and the speed or access changes automatically when a limit is reached.

What happens when a subscriber’s plan expires?

The connection is suspended automatically on expiry. As soon as the subscriber pays online or at your office, the plan renews and the connection is restored.
